Galena Rotary Sets
January 13 For Roundtable
(click for registration)

The 24th annual Community Roundtable sponsored by the Galena Rotary Club, in cooperation with Galena Gazette Publications, will be held Wednesday, January 13, 2010, at Eagle Ridge Resort and Spa.
This year’s theme “Forecasting Change…Are You Ready?” focuses on potential changes that will likely occur in key areas such as healthcare, education, business, agriculture, transportation, communications, social services, and the environment. In addition to identifying potential changes, the panelist will discuss how we can best prepare for these changes.
Moderator Alan Wenzel, will again lead a diverse panel of concerned citizens in discussing these key issues. After a special luncheon program, featuring Mr. Michael Blouin, President, Dubuque Economic Development, Roundtable participants will remain and form small “table talk” groups. These groups will pick the key areas of change and how we can best prepare for these changes to preserve and protect and enhance life in Jo Daviess County. The full assembly will then reconvene and be open for opinions, questions and discussion from the floor.
The day long event begins at 8:30am and ends at 3:30pm. Admission will be $35 for those who pre-register or $40 at the door. The admission fee includes a sit down luncheon. Pre-registration forms will be available at most Jo Daviess county banks and the Galena Gazette in early December. Pre-registration forms are also available here.
The Galena Rotary Club is currently looking for host families for our inbound foreign exchange student.

think, say or do:

1. Is it the Truth?
2. Is it Fair to all

3. Will it build goodwill
    and better friendships?
4. Will it be beneficial
